We use our experience and knowledge to find the correct bike fit for you.

We’ll guide you through the sizing process to give you a better understanding of the changes we’re making to the sizer and what they will affect.

The process with our Calfee sizer.

Sizing

Using our Calfee sizer and a humble tape measure, we will take various measurements of you throughout a sizing session that represent your optimal size.

Our Calfee sizer (as seen below), is a fully adjustable bicycle made to the exact millimetre and angle to replicate frame geometry. Using this, you can also set and adjust the seat post, saddle, handlebar stem, and crank length. Even the right type of handlebars and pedals can be added.

Fitting

Using the sizing data, we fit you to a bicycle or tandem by using Bike/Tandem CAD (Computer Aided Design) to alter the dimensions of a frame, crank height, seat position, and handlebar position.

We offer 3 types of bike fits.

Virtual Fit

45 minutes
£ 50-70 £50 Solo | £70 Tandem
  • Our most popular sizing option, as it does not require a visit to our studio. We’ll size and fit your bike virtually, taking all the necessary information from you using an easy-to-use online form.

All you need to do is download our editable bike sizing form and then email it over to us with your details.

This information is then transposed onto a Bike/Tandem CAD drawing and is used when building your bike in our workshop.

Bike Fit

60 minutes
£ 70-90 £70 Solo | £90 Tandem
  • Our regular bike fit session is aimed at the rider with an existing bike that needs to get a comfortable and efficient position.

It includes adjusting your cleats, shifter position, a more detailed analysis of your riding style, and advice on replacement equipment if needed.

Custom Fit

60-120 minutes
£ 125-145 £125 Solo | £145 Tandem
  • The custom bike fit is based on measuring you for a custom bike or tandem, starting with a blank sheet of paper and our sizing jig or by setting the jig to your existing frame geometry and working around that to get the best fit.

Your existing bike can then be made to fit you by adjusting or changing stems, bars, saddle, and even cranks if need be. We’ll also ensure that your cleats are set up correctly. Detailed drawings are also included.

If you then go on to order a custom bike with us, the fee for your session will be refunded. If you order at the time of fitting, then no charge is made.
