Toray® T1100. Granoc. Nanoalloy®. The best high-strength and high-modularity fibres laminated with the best resin. The combination of such high-quality materials combined with the technically fine-tuned design of the frame and brand new production technology has allowed us to create a wholly unique monocoque manufactured from a single piece with no joins.

Thanks to the joint-free design and continuous fitting of fibre, the Phantom utilises the maximum mechanical properties of the materials and achieves “miraculous” values for the rider: Weight of just 760 grams in size 57cm, torsional headtube stiffness 143Nm/°/kg, pedalling stiffness excellent 68N/mm. Put in layman’s terms – a rocket, a bullet,… a professional racing machine readied for your very best performances.

 

Where are the benefits?

Made in a single piece – OnePiece Technology – 100% monocoque
The frame is made as a single piece, including frame dropouts, which are formed and hardened jointly with the entire shell of the frame in a single step. OnePiece technology ensures the greatest manufacturing precision with maximum quality of workmanship.

AFCF fibre fitting technology
The arrangement of individual pieces and direction of fibre fitting has an impact on the resultant mechanical and handling properties. AFCF technology takes into account the design solution of the frame during the plan for fitting of the individual fibres. The aim is to ensure that in the places of the greatest stress the fibre is uninterrupted, so its mechanical properties are utilised to the full. In this way we attain limit parameters amongst rigidity, strength and weight of the monocoque.

100% carbon fibre
The frame is made without a single metal component, and it contains 100% carbon fibres; the design solution makes it possible to fit the bearings directly into the frame (headset and bottom bracket). In the places most subject to wear we have used 3K Twill fibre and 1K fabric, which protect the lower layers of high-rigidity and high-strength fibres from being pulled out.

High torsional rigidity
The high strength and high modulus fibers embedded in nanoalloy resin with a technically perfect design solution achieves the highest possible strength parameters at very low weight. Torsional headtube stiffness of 143Nm/deg/kg and torsional stiffness near bottom bracket 68N/mm offers nearly 100% transmission of energy expended to acceleration.
