Our Landescape Tandems began life in 2002 and are beautifully hand-made. If you think you know aluminium frames then think again! Our high-quality Landescape Tandems are manufactured from tubing specifically made and drawn for Tandems. We use 7020T6 with a wall thickness of 1.8mm at the joints and butted to 1.4mm in the centre of the tubes. The post-weld strength of 7020T6 is greater and therefore gives a stronger, lighter frame than less expensive frames made from cheaper materials and sourced from the Far East. The material we use, its butting and its lightness make for a stiffer frame with better power efficiency and handling but not at the expense of comfort.
With lightness and strength hand-in-hand, the standard offering of all our Landescape Tandems is that they are built in custom sizes and in the Direct Lateral Design. You can be assured that we can build your Tandem to suit your exact needs. From track to trail, on or off-road or just pootling along, enjoying the countryside for a day or an extended tour, we have a Landescape Tandem for you.
